    Hello,
    we are using thinprint engine 7 on a MS server 2003. On the server it works fine.
    We all connect with RDP
     
    One location we got a problem:
    We are using .printclient v7.0.619.9 on HP compaq T5730 thinclients with windows xp embedded and connected with a RICOH Afico MP C2500 multi functional printer, IP based.
     
    Sometimes we can print with succes but most of the times when we send an printjob we get the following error message: "Thinprint view no pages found"
    The only way to resolve this problem is to log off the rdp session, reboot the client, login and  remake the printjob.
    After a couple of jobs the same problem returns
    If we disabling the thinprint clients we can print well, the error only occurs when were printing with the ThinPrint scenario.
     
    Has anyone else come accross or fixed a similar issue? Anyone any suggestions as to what this could be?

    Hello,

    I think the problem might be related to the used WinXPe on a thinclient.
    Starting with .print Engine 7.6 we check (right before sending the printjob) what kind of .print Client we are talking to.
    As the .print Client on this device states it is a full blown Windows 32 client, we use a different packaging algorithm for the transferred data.
    As memory is always an issue on those devices, it may be problematic to send (as a maximum) 1,5MB of uncompressed print data.

    OK, please create a new ThinPrint port on the server side and create the below setting. Restart the spooler and give this port a try.

    Is the printing becoming more stable?
