    ThinPrint 7.6 crystal reports problem

Since upgrading for ThinPrint 7.0 to 7.6 I now receive this error when printing from a crystal reports 8.5.  To a server installed printer it is fine, but selecting a thinPrint autocreated printer will generated the error.  Any ideas?

    Errror:

Crystal Reports Engine error 567.   Error in File.  Page Header or Footer longer than a page.

    Many Thanks.

    Brendan.

    Hi,
this seems to be a problem with transferred printer properties.
If you turn off "transfer printer properties" in .print Client configuration (should be on the second configuration tab) an reconnect to your session, is the error occurring too?
Is only a specific printer driver affected?

Re: ThinPrint 7.6 crystal reports problem

I have tried your suggestion, but sadly the same problem occurs.  I have tried on three different machines each with different printers, and again the problem still occurs.  One printer was an epson R800, the other a Xerox 6360DX Postscript printer and the thirs was a HP laserjet.

If I print via the native driver for my Xerox printer (installed on the server with the running crystal report) then it prints without any problems.  What is most strange is as I said in my original post, wasthe fact on version 7.0 of the .print server it worked fine..... would be interested to know what changes might have affected this.

By the way, I have also tried different versions of the crystal runtime v9 / v10 & v11 and they all give an error.  (Sometimes error 567 footer to big and sometimes 500  not enough memory).

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Brendan.
